2009 IN REVIEW

Well another year has now passed and we at Nitelatches had a year that was filled with both joy and saddness.

Brendan and I would like to take this opportunity to wisheveryone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year filled with much joy and hope your wishes all come true.

We had our first American champion in 2009. "Panda" now owned by Ken Marks of Myne Kennels in New York obtainedher American championship. Thank you to Ken for keeping his promise and to handlers Vicki Rolls and Carol Gefell for getting the job done.

"Della" Nitelatches Black Dalhia obtained her championship and "Charlie" Nitelatches Grandgables Ironman (co-owned with Taylor Stevenson) also became a Champion. Taylor handled Charlie all the way.  Charlie sired his first litter of 3 puppies and we are keeping fingers crossed for a show prospect from the breeding.

Taylor competed at the Zone 7 Junior Finals and was awarded RESERVE WINNERS...congratulations Taylor.

We lost our beautiful "Trinity" BPISS Ch. Nitelatches Trinity to a brain tumor. She was a breeders dream come true. She was more than I could have ever hoped for but God asked me to send her back...rest in peace my sweet Trinity.

We are happy to have a beautiful sable boy waiting in the wings. "Lucas" Nitelatches Chivas Regal will be out in 2010. He is sired by Ch Highledge Irish Cream ROMC out of Ch Bonnyville Nitelatches Passion.  Watch for "Lucas" with myself and Taylor in the show ring...

Warmest Regards,
